Until It Hurts / Stretched Canvas @ 36 x 51 x 2 inches
Archival canvas on two inch stretchers. Signed and dated on verso, 2021. Jack Carr became a collector of my work during his transition from active duty military to full-time writer. We kept in touch as he began the first chapter of his new career in the arts and he paid me a visit at the studio when the Terminal List crew was filming a sailboat scene off of Portuguese Bend in Rancho Palos Verdes. Several days later he asked the production if they would be open to including the UIH art in the design for the High Bay set. They liked the idea so I had this canvas printed up for them. It actually appeared in early versions of the first episode but ended up getting cut during the final edit. That happens some times with art rentals, you never know if the director is going to end up using the shot your work is featured in during his final editing sessions. Anyway, once filming for the series was completed, the production returned the art to me as per our agreement and I wrapped it in archive paper for safe storage. Now, it’s available for purchase with domestic pack and ship charges included in the sale price.
